Sponsorship is a one-year written agreement: your support in exchange for visibility with the U.S. military community in Germany and Europe.
Rights and benefits
Included in the current donation and sponsorship scheme, subject to USO, Inc. approval.
- Licence to use the USO name and logo to recognise your support, subject to USO approval
- Provision of a Spendenbescheinigung for the donation element
- USO centre visits and immersion (Deployment Processing Center, Ramstein, Warrior Center)

How a sponsorship works
- We agree the scope, duration and visibility in a written sponsorship contract.
- Sponsorship is invoiced. Because there is a service in return, it is not a donation and no donation receipt is issued for that portion.
- Any purely charitable element on top can be treated as a donation, with a Spendenbescheinigung.
- Tax treatment of sponsorship expenditure depends on your circumstances — please consult your tax adviser.
