Our core mission
Fundraising for the USO in Germany and Europe
We exist to raise money and in-kind support from German and European companies, associations and individuals — and to strengthen German-American understanding while doing it. Those are our two purposes, and everything on this site leads back to them.
What is the USO?
The USO (United Service Organizations, or USO, Inc.) is the American non-profit that strengthens the well-being of the people serving in America’s military and their families — centres, care packages, family programmes and support during deployment. USO, Inc. runs the centres. USO Deutschland e.V. is the German association that raises the funds and builds the local partnerships that keep that work going here.

When they arrive
A first friendly face in a new country
New orders, a new language, a new base. Airport and centre teams meet families as they land, hand over a SIM card and a hot coffee, and answer the questions that no briefing covered — funded by supporters here in Germany.
At USO centres
Wi-Fi, a couch, and someone who gets it
Free Wi-Fi to call home, gaming setups, quiet corners for study, family rooms for kids, and snacks that taste like home. Centres stay open when everything else on post is closed.
Away from home
Mission delivery to the places training happens
Care packages, USO2GO kits and pop-up lounges travel to training areas and forward sites across Germany and the wider region — Grafenwöhr, Hohenfels, Saber Strike and Saber Guardian rotations included.
In their hour of need
Beside wounded, ill and injured service members
At the Landstuhl Warrior Center, patients and the families who fly in to be with them find a place to rest, eat, do laundry and simply exhale during the hardest weeks of a career.

USO Deutschland e.V. is a certified German non-profit, registered at the Amtsgericht Frankfurt am Main (VR 6573), with charitable status confirmed on 22 August 2025. Donations from Germany receive a Spendenbescheinigung.
